Function DimensionDefaultingEngine::insertDimensionSpecifer has been incorrectly called

    success i closed the fiscal period, but the trial balance form still appears zero on the opening balance even I update and rebuild the dimension.

    this happened on the production, I made compile and CIL since long time ago, I can't remember.

    What kind of environment is this?  Test? Prod? Did you do compile and full CIL after latest code changes in this system?

    thanks a lot for your reply, once I entered the journal manually there is no issue on it, so I think the class needs to compiled or run full Cil? please advice.

    Maybe your dimension data is somehow corrupted, since you have reported another issue in the dimension / ledger account area (community.dynamics.com/.../axddimensionutil-getledgeraccountid-is-not-working).

    I suggest you debug your scenario to understand what exact data constellation causes AX to throw this error.

    Which class calls this DimensionDefaultingEntine::insertDimensionSpecifier in your case?

    there is no customization on it , this class calles once you run clsoe fiscal year from the GL.

    Which class calls this DimensionDefaultingEntine::insertDimensionSpecifier in your case? Is there some customization in that area?

    I got this exception once I tried to close fiscal year I tried also to debug the mentioned class but unfortunately, I didn't reach to any solution to solve this issue.
