We would like to make an Extender Window attached to the Customer window that automatically stores the customer number in a field called license number. We want the user to have the option to over-ride this field but not be required to go to this window unless there was an exception. How do we make an extender window default a value from another field without someone looking it up and choosing it?

This will require some SQL knowledge.
It can be accomplished by creating a trigger on the Customer Table that when a customer account is created the extender fields are populated in the Extender tables.
