Hi everyone

I have modified Customer Service representative security role and on that role, there is a custom entity that a user has only read privilege but the same user is able to create the records on the entity. After a record is being created by that user it reads as a read-only record to that user. I expected an error message to tell the user that they don't have enough privilege to create a record

@Fun wei Jie Thanks for the answer. I have checked everything and all was fine just that for some reasons the role was not published

The issue was security roles were not published properly

There are good tooling around this in XrmToolBox i use normally.

To check what permission a user has on particular entity record

Hi,

can you provide more information?

1.) system entity or custom entity

2.) can you provide the setting of that entity?

- prefer in picture

3.) can you check is user under any teams?

- check the security role that associate to that team.

4.) Screenshot the security role setting too.

Note that the Team user belongs to use the same security role
