Hi

I've just started to see an error when calling an asmx web service from a plugin.
The service is passed data from the plugin to be entered into a sqlserver db.

I'm now getting this error:

System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationException: Type 'System.ServiceModel.Channels.ReceivedFault' in assembly 'System.ServiceModel, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' is not marked as serializable.

Please help.

It is Sandbox but I can't chose anything else as I'm using CRM Online

    Hi,

Was it working fine before and stopped? I am not sure how you are calling the web service but you cannot call the external web service directly in sandbox plugin.

Check if the issue is happening because your calling from plugin or if the web service itself is throwing exception.

    Hope this helps.

Hi. Turns out it was a problem with one of my fields in the webservice.

Not a very useful error though!
