Unable to create Order record from Quote Entity

Hi All,

My company uses Dynamics CRM 2016 to manage Sales Activity. We are in the UAT stage and plan to rollout in July. However, our sales support team found that an Order creation from Quote Entity could not generate from system.

I have following the CRM guide but the "Create Order" button  at the top of the Quote screen is missing,

It happened to some of the Quote records with status reason = "Final" but not all Quote record. 

PS. I have check that they have FULL access right in the Order creation under Setting > Security > Security Role > Sales Tag > Order column.

Can anyone advise the root cause ? Thanks.

    Hi Benjamin,

    For all quote records with Status Reason equals Active, Create Order button will be present.

    What does the "Status Reason equals Final" mean?

    Hi Benjamin

    The reason status “final” is not out the box Dynamics CRM statuscode. The status reason is made up of 4 different statuses namely draft, active, won and closed. For the Create Order button to be visible check to see if the final status reason is active->final.

    Furthermore, check to see whether any workflows are updating the status on the quote based on conditions that may have been checked.

    Hi,

    Create order button will be visible on "Activating Quote". Hence if quote status is "Activated" then only you can see Create order button. What i suggest, you can add "Final" value in Status reason for Activated Status.

    This is how you can achieve this.
