[CRM 365]. Campaign Responses

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Dear Pros,

Can you explain for me how to calculate about "Total No. Targeted" and "Response Rate"

I run report Campaign Performance:  Marketing > campaign > run report Campaign Performance

    Hi Alexis F, I got it :)

Total No. of Responses = Total No of Marketing List

Response Rate = Total No. of response / (Total No. Targeted * Expected Response)

    Hi,

Thanks! Sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you on this. I've been researching, but there is very little documentation on how the metrics on any marketing reports are calculated. Here is one hopefully useful link that includes info about the response rate as well as some of the other metrics.

I've tried reaching out to Catalina, the person in the link, for you to see where she got the info because I'm curious too. I'll let you know if I find more.

    Best,

    Alexis

    Hi Alexis F,

My Marketing List's just only have 7 members

I give "In Expected Response (%)" = 1, I have 6 Campaign Responses and 3 Campaign Activities. But I don't understand why I have the "Total No. Targeted" and "Response Rate"

    like the picture!

    Hello,

The Total No. Targeted is the amount of contacts/accounts you had set the campaign to contact. Most of the time, it's the length of your marketing list you added to the campaign.

The Response Rate should be Total No. of Responses / Total No. Targeted, but I'm not sure why your response rate is so high considering the numbers shown. Will look into that part some more.

    Best,

    Alexis
