Is it possible to customise the Approval process set up in hiring process template

At the hiring process template, if the new job need to be approved, the only approval option in the process template, is "Not need" or "default".  If "Default" is selected, the new created job will only need to go through one step of approval, is there a way to modify the "default" approval process
