After installing, look at the VSTMenus.pdf for instructions on how to install the samples in VSTMenus_Examples.zip.

Sorry I had misread I thought that you were trying to use David's VSIT, which is why I was saying the docs were good.
I've been mixing up VSIT with the VSTD acronym you used in your question -apologies.

You can only add form level menus with Visual Studio Tools.
That's why I developed the free tool Visual Studio Integration Toolkit (formerly Menus for Visual Studio Tools) which allows you to add menus to the Dynamics GP Navigation model.

The documentation is quite comprehensive, with examples for VSTD. What exactly is the issue you are encountering when attempting this?
