NAV2017 instance which consumes all memory

Hello,

I am working on NAV2017. There is a server for Microsoft Dynamics Nav 2017 and a server with SQL Server 2014.

On the Nav server we have 4 instances of Nav.

One of them increases until all server memory is consumed! So after about 20 hours the server is down (100% memory used). We need to stop and restart the instance to fix the problem. But we have to do it every day!
Is there a solution / reason someone is aware of?

    Hello Philippe,

    Sounds like a serious memory leak issue on the relevant NAV instance. I have seen similar issues in connection with the NAS Service in the past. I would recommend making sure the environment has all the latest Windows updates and is using the latest cumulative update for NAV 2017, i.e. CU46: https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=102003

    If the problem persists I would recommend opening a support ticket with Microsoft via your Solution Provider or Dynamics NAV Partner.

    Thanks for your answer. I ever have a similar response by an MVP in the past and all the Windows updates have been done. The latest CU have been installed and the problem was not solved.

    Now we are not on the latest CU for Nav. But I'm not sure that will solve the issue.

    This is a a NAS dedicated Nav Instance. So maybe, I have to open a support ticket with Microsoft (I'm a Dynamics Nav Partner).
