i am making the purchase order through master planning, once i fetch the items so i need to open various peroforma order by selecting specific items. there is a column of product name search bar which is deactivate, i just need to know how i can active the search bar of product name so i can search the items by typing the name in the bar to avoid wasting extra time. can anybody advise me. i am using Microsoft Dynamic AX 2012.

Hi Rameez,
Probably, the item name column is a display field which means that the data is not in the table itself, but retrieved using coding per record. In that case, you can't filter on such column. You can use the advanced query form and link tables to filter. If you want to be able to filter on the grid directly, a customization is required to add the datasource containing the product name and add a physical field.
