Business Central for Colleges / Universities?

Good Afternoon All,

I have recently been speaking to some clients who are colleges who are interesting in changing from Microsoft GP to Microsoft Business Central. We support / roll out both but from anyone's experience, do you think you could use Business Central in such an environment and if so have you seen any Colleges use Business Central since it has been released last year?

    This is absolutely possible, there are many education entities that uses NAV (and now D365BC) for their financial aspects.

    You need for sure a lot of customizations for handling the budget, costs management, courses allocation (if needed) and so on, but it's absolutely possible.

    How customisable is Business Central compared to Nav / GP for instance? I know we are restricted to what we can and can't change on Business Central unless we are talking about creating an application like a plugin which is downloaded via the app store and applied etc..?

    It's exactly customziable like NAV (same codebase).

    I think that there is no need for business centers for colleges or universities. This is irrational use of state funds. I believe that there are many other useful projects for colleges. About one of them can be read in the essay on the edusson.com/buy-capstone-project This is a very fast and convenient educational online service. Key objectives are necessary; not only with respect to the present but also because future projections are included in the requisition list, which allows a business to factor in the scalability and accommodating changes in the future of the business/industry. So again, it is essential to identify the problem or the exact necessity motivating the ERP.

    Yes whey not there is lot of educational organizations they implemented Business central.

    Some colleges may use NAV, it depends on what options you need, what settings you constantly use in your work. I am currently writing a student essay in which I compare the possibility of using Microsoft GP or Microsoft Business. https://eduzaurus.com/free-essay-samples/adnan-syed/ there are many nuances and the description of the questions during the transition resembles an investigation in a detective series) Depends on the need to edit the college schedule, budget and other settings. But in general, it is quite real.

    Business Central is used by a whole group of students, in general we are satisfied with this situation. I will tell you about the details later after the survey of the whole group.
