Linking Requisition data to PO data in Report Writer

Posted on by 1,340

Can anyone help me with how to link POP Requisition data onto the PO form?

I can link the SOP60100 table to the PO but not to the Requisitions tables.

We need to get the UDF 1 and 2 from the requisition to the PO.

    Hello Jason,

The SOP60100 contains the requisition number in the SOPNUMBE column and the corresponding PONUMBER column as well.

You can use the requisition number to link to the WfBusObjKey column in the WFI10002 table, to get the WorkflowInstanceID value, which then you can use to link to the WFI10003, WFI10004 and other workflow tables.

At that point, you could use the PO number to gather information on the PO side as well.

    Thank you,

    Thanks Jason and Leslie.

I did also manage to link the SOP-POPLink table to the POP PO.  However, I need to go further and link through to the Requisition header history table, as I need to add the requisition approver to the PO.  Looks like we may need to go down the trigger route...

    Thanks for your replies.

    Regards

    Ana

    Hello,

Sorry for such a delay in this.  I have not found a way through report writer to link the PO back to the Requisitions History table.  You can link the SOP-PO Link table and get the Requisition Number but you cannot further link the SOP-PO Link table back to Requisitions History and pull in the User Defined Fields.  VBA is the way to go if this is what you are looking for.

On a side note, I did load Victoria's report into my test system and it is a great example of how to add the Req. Number to the PO, if that is what you are looking for.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

I created a report that prints the Req number on the PO. It isn't pretty, but the relationships have been changed. You can download it here: app.box.com/.../r0vaxdrtn0zqfoayxo5ur44buu1ib94e

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

I realise this is quite an old post, however, do you recall if you found a solution to your requirement?

I have a similar requirement for a customer and would appreciate any help.

    Many thanks

Add table relationship with PO form tables to Requisition table, then open the PO form report to map the requisition table. After you added this table you can use the requisition table fields to PO form reports.

FYI, please have a look on the below link.

    Hope this helps!!!
