Event End Date increased for 1 hour automatically

Posted on by 147

We have Event templates where Start and End Date are from January. Time zone is UTC+1.
When we select one of these templates and we adjust the Start Date to some date after 26th March the system automatically adds 1 hour to End Date.

We assume that this is related with Daylight Savings Time. Is this normal behavior or it is a bug?

    Hi,

    It's so strange.

I would suggest you open one ticket for Microsoft Support team.

No, this doesn't happens when events are created directly. This only happens after some template is selected where start date was in the beginning of the year and after the start date is changed to some recent date.

If some older date is selected (older than 26th March) then this issue is not present.

    Hi Partner,

The same thing happens when you create events directly?

What about choosing another time zone? This does not happen if the date is before 26th March?

I think your guess about daylight saving time is possible, but because of the lack of official Microsoft documentation, I suggest opening a ticket with the support team:
