Hi Jehan,
Nothing prevents you from closing and reopening the month any time in GP. All you need to do is check the box in the Period Setup window. Uncheck it to open the period back up if you find you need to enter another transaction into that period.

Hi Jehan,
Can you please explain what you mean by ".. take 30 days..." ? We close our month-end within the next 5 business days after month-end.. You don't have to wait 30 days to do so.. What keeps you from closing your previous month ?
