Pickup/Ship from distribution center in Retail POS Order

Hi All,

Does anyone know that when create POS order, can we specific to pick up from DC instead of store? As from the existing retail demo VM, seem I can't select DC during order creation in POS.

Any advice is much appreciated.

No, it´s not possible. Only stores you can specific to pick up or delivery in the POS.

Alternatively you could use the DOM (Distributed order management) functionality to manage deliveries or pick up from DC´s.

You could do the Pick up from DC, but for that you have to create another store. By attaching DC into the Fullfilment group, you could see the inventory lying at DC using Inventory lookup.

Alternatively you can also ship it every order from DC by selecting DC as shipping warehouse at Store Card.

Please add the DC into the Fullfilment group where the store is attached to. You can go to Retail--> All Retail Stores --> Setup--> Fulfilment Groups.
