Sandbox Instance Disappeared when trying to restore from back-up

I had some issues with my stage environment today. I went to restore it to a 7:00 AM this morning back-up. It said "Setting up" for a while, but now the instance has completely disappeared from my list of instances. I had two sandboxes, stage and dev. The stage has now disappeared. Is this normal? HELP!

    Been having troubles with our sandbox and prod instances since Saturday, with instances disappearing, restorations and resets not completing... Our prod instance came back this morning but the Sandbox was still in a pending state and unusable. I entered tickets for both, and got back word that Production was back up (Are you still seeing issues? No? Closing ticket.) and am waiting for them to reset the sandbox instance from the back end.

    I asked if they could give me a reason and got back "This may have been related to some service interruptions that we had on Thursday, Friday and Saturday." 

    If there were any interruptions, they haven't been listed on the Service Health Page on the admin portal. I'd really like to know the cause behind this, and if it's been fixed or I should be prepared for more outages.

    Also it depends upon the size of data in your instance, mine had lakhs of records so it took around 2 Hours, after that it was visible.

    Yes mine came back after about an hour.

    Hello the exact same problem just happened to me, would you mind telling me how to solve it?

    Edit: It came back after 45 minutes, everything's fine.

    Please contact MS Support as theycan tell you what happened to your instance.

    I will suggest you to log a support ticket to Microsoft, they should be able to help you to resolve this issue.
