Since the CRM Online upgrade to version 1612 (9.0.2.758) the Service entity stopped working!
When I go to to Settings > Business Management, click on Services and try to edit an existing service or create a new service (click new) I get the famous MS error in the attachment.
It's not a role issue or permission issue because I have the System Administrator, or System Customizer security role.
The error message is:
"Unhandled Exception: System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[[Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.OrganizationServiceFault, Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35]]: System.Web.HttpUnhandledException (0x80004005): Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: This operation is not supported for a relative URI."

No problem, atleast now they know its a problem with the product so they can directly reach out to Microsoft support.

Unfortunately MS didn't send me the script.

I have tested this on the same online version and its working fine for me. It is more likely that you have some custom functionality running on service entity.
As this s server side issue, it would be better if you contact Microsoft Support to assist on this. They can look into the traces and troubleshoot accordingly.

I've tried IE, Chrome and Firefox all in safe mode and still gives me the same error message!

You might want to check a different browser or clear your cache / cookies. I am running the exact same version in a test environment and I was able to create a new service. I was also able to test editing the service as well.
