I was wondering if there was a way to change decimal places on the totals screen on the POS screen layout?
This is what I am talking about:

Maybe a new validation was added to not allow it if there are open transactions. We usually do this configuration at the beginning of the project when there are no transactions. Check with your finance consultant if there is an option or Microsoft support will be your best shot.

Can you help in setting up this? I have this similar requirement to use POS for 3 decimal places. But I m not able to change this field to 0.0010 - it gives and warning of "The setting for rounding currency amounts has been changed. This might affect currency amounts on unposted transactions". and then refreshes back to 0.00 (default)
It is not allowing me more than 2 decimal places.
Hi Shafeeque, It would be a great help, if you kindly let me know, how to check the outcome of price rounding rule as you mentioned 0.0010, I tried at my end, but I don't know how to check this scenario. Can you explain with an example.
If my memory is good, it is in General Ledger >> Setup >> Currency.
Looking at the screen shot, Could you please try making the total summary layout a little wider from your screen designer ? I guess the tax decimals are getting over lapped as you are displaying two info in one line.
I am not sure if there is an option to change the decimal precision for total alone. In all the cases I have worked on, the customers (Kuwait, Oman etc) require price of items and total be shown in 3 digit decimals. To enable this, we change the price rounding rule of the currency in General Ledger to 0.0010.
