in Attendance setup if no of hours per day is changed from default 8 hours to 7 hours, to meet the new company policy.
will this affect the normal working of GP payroll, what are the thing need to be taken care off.any suggestion would be helpfull

Did the change in hours change the way benefits are accrued? If you have them to accrue by the hour, then that will change. Is Overtime still based on 40 hrs per week? Are you doing any Union reporting?
Basically I would go through all of my accrual schedules and any pay/benefit/deduction codes that are based on hours and consider whether this change makes a difference.
I'm sure, like you, that something is out there ready to bite - let's go look for the snakes early.
