How to trace the history of changes to each of the data

Posted on by 115

Hi ,

i'm looking for  how AX2012 manage  Traceability .

I must trace the history of changes to each  data (modification date, user ID, IP address of the workstation).

I must also find  all the changes made by a given user in a given period and for directors, i must trace the history of the consultations they have made.

Best regards .

Use DB logging, but a caution here that DB logging is expensive on space and time

    Hi Ahmed

You can use the standard AX feature, Database logging.

    More info at technet.microsoft.com/.../dd362089.aspx

Take care on performance aspect, because the database log table can grow quickly, the transaction log file will grow more quickly, etc.
