I have around 1000+ Enabled Users in the system and would like to know the users who are actively using the system from last couple of months. Also, few users have just view access and can't make any changes to records.
Audit on users is never enabled. What will be a good approach to get the list??

You can probably use this tool mscrmtoolkit.codeplex.com
There is an Audit Export Manager there where you can export data and from that extract you can easily identify your needed information.
