Report visibility condition

Posted on by 4,184

Hi

In Posted Purchase Receipt, I have three line, first line the quantity is 0 , second line is 100 then third is 0,

Our client requirement is such that each line should be printed on a new page with some other details. If the quantity is 0 then instead of 3 page only one page report should be generated . The row visibility condition is not working because when we apply these the report comes blank as it checks only for first row of data and if it finds null qty it shows blank report without checking for other lines.

Please help on these critical issue.

I will be thankful if someone can give resolution on these.

    Hi Chris,

Best is not to impose visibility conditions on RDLC, but do add filters in NAV report dataitem.

    Hope it helps.

If you dont want those Lines (With Zero Quantity) in the Report why Bring those lines even in Dataset?

Filter your Data Item (Purchase Receipt Line) In Developer Environment with Quantity <> 0.

With That you dont need to apply any visiblity condition in Report layout.

Best option you can put filter in dataitem only for quantity <> 0
