Show or hide views in plugins based on security role

show or hide the views based on logged in user security role. I have followed the below blog to achieve this.But seems its working in classic but not in new ui. Can someone help me on this? also Iam fetching views, object typecode and roles from sales configuration and passing those values to the array. So that in future some on ewant to hide some more views they can directly modify the configuration record instead of the code.
