PO Print order for added lines

I have a PO that I monthly copy as my template to bill against with updated number. There are many line items and I like to keep them in a certain order so they match up with my offline details. However 2-3 times a year I have to add additional lines in and no matter where on the page the line is added it will print as the last line. I tried updating the line number field but that just changes what prints not the order it prints in.

Example: the last line on the PO now says it's line 3 instead of Line 16.

Is there anyway to change this order when adding a line or am I stuck recreating all lines again?

    Hi,
You can try to check whether there is any configuration at the form or report level that affects the display order. Verify that the LineNum field is part of a numbering sequence. Numbering conventions in D365 FO sometimes affect the order of records. The system typically uses views to display data. Check the default sort order in views related to purchase order lines. If necessary, modify the sort order in the view to match your requirements.
    Best Regards,
    Hana

    Hi,
Unfortunately, there is currently no built-in functionality that allows you to change the order of the printed lines when adding new ones.To address this issue, you may need to consider alternative approaches to meet your requirement:
Reordering Offline Details: Instead of attempting to change the order of printed lines within Dynamics 365 F&O, you could adjust your offline details to align with the system's printing behavior. This way, even if the added lines are printed at the end, they would still match up with your offline records.
Recreating Template When Adding Lines: Alternatively, when you need to add new lines a few times a year, you might consider recreating the entire template with the updated line order to ensure consistency and avoid unexpected printing discrepancies.
    Best regards,
    Kevin
