I would like to have dedicated User ID to run Job Queues in Business Central (BC), do we need to create a separate Microsoft 365 Account? I see there is Built-in "SYSTEM" and "BCBUILD**" User IDs for some of the existing Jobs in Sample company. Can we use those IDs?

User ID for Job Queues

Hello,

You cannot use SYSTEM or BCBUILD* for your own job queues.

If you want a dedicated job-queue user, you must create a real Microsoft 365 user, assign a BC license, give it permissions, and use that as the Job Queue User ID.
