Field Service Module

Posted on by 30

Hi there,

I'm having trouble tracking service parts, specifically that are used through the service module to better help our purchasing department.  There doesn't seem to be a specific report (that I've found) that will tell, for example, how many parts and what parts, were used in a certain month.  The Service Manager currently manually enters each count as he closes out each job.  So I'm sure you can imagine how lengthy and prone to error that could be when purchasing new parts.  Please tell me someone knows a better way to do this??

When selling a Part on a Service Call, it is removed from GP by an IV decrease transaction.

These transactions will have a History Module = 'CL' and a Batch Source = 'IV_Trxent'

You could then use the Inventory Transactions SmartList and add those columns.

You could then use the Search and limit to the month, and the above options.

Then you could export to Excel and sum/group by as needed.

    Thanks!
