Intercompany Sales with Item Variant and Lot Tracking

Hi,

We have setup an Intercompany partner, to whom we will be selling the products.

it's working fine, however, for receiving company is not getting details of Variant Code and Lot Number from Selling company.

Appreciate any help on how to transfer Variant Code and Lot details when selling using Intercompany Transaction.

Do you have the same variants setup in the receiving company?

Are the items being processed lot tracked in the receiving company?

If both these answers are true, you need to pull in your partner to talk with Microsoft.

Thanks for your reply.

1. Yes, same Item and Variants exists in both the companies.

2. Yes, items need to be lot tracked in receiving company.

I also believe Variant Code and Lot details should be exchanged using IC. I've asked our vendors, but they insist it is not supported in base application.

Any help or documentation to the contrary is appreciated.

The link points to an add-on. I would like to know if the base application supports transferring Variant Code and Lot Details from Selling company to Purchasing company.

I think this is not part of the standard application. The thought process being that the receiving company should designate the variants and lots received.

I looked through the source code and from what i can see there Kim is right. The standard application does not support batch / serial no. information in IC transactions. So that will have to be customized or you can look for an add-on.
