D365 Portal - Error while loading sub grid records in entity form

Hi Guys,

I have created an entity form for Account entity with multiple subgrids of Contact entity(1:N and N:N) associated with it, respectively I have created multiple entity permissions for all relationships between Account and Contact.

I have created a new Relationship(N:N) and added a subgrid and added new entity permission

This is causing issue while displaying records in the subgrid, it is throwing an error.

Below the Entity Permissions created.

When I deactivate newly created Entity permission the subgrid shows records without any error, but, it doesn't show records of the newly created relationship.

Not sure what is the issue here, I wonder my implementation might be wrong wrt entity permissions.

Thanks in advance,

Madhan.

    Hi Madhan,
We would like to suggest to keep the Account and Contact entity permission for the current Web role and check if it’s working as expected in the initial step. Make sure that the Contact fields are only in the view and no other lookup field is in the view as well as in Filter criteria of that view. This will ensure that the implementation is correct and there is some condition with entity permission breaking.
For the next step, you can try to implement entity permission one at a time like for 1:N or N:N (i.e. Parent/Child entity permissions) then check the portal by clearing the cache. If everything works, add the lookup fields you are using in view, so by implementing one step at a time you will able to find the root cause.
    Hope this helps!

    Hi Madhan,

I am having the same issue with table permissions in Power Pages. Did you find any solution for this? Remember how you solved it??

    Thanks,
    Simmi
