Can contacts sync from CRM to Financials?

Hello. I'm still setting up Financials. I was able to sync CRM Accounts to Financials Customers; that was pretty exciting! However it did not pull over any contact information. Is there a video or article on this specifically? I'm coming up empty. If I can't sync a primary contact, is there a way to assign one of the CRM contacts to the Financials account card? It's probably simple and I'm missing it.

Thanks.

    Hello,

Contacts should sync based on the following filters.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Financials contact filter: Type is Person and the contact is assigned to a company.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales contact filter: Contact is assigned to a company and the parent customer type is Account.

    Thanks,

    Chris

I think I have that all correct, at least in CRM. As for Financials, I would if there was a contact to assign as a person.

I will include some screenshots of my test account.

The Financials contact does not show in the customer list view:

The CRM contact is assigned to a company/Account:

The CRM relationship type is Customer:

In Financials, if I open the account and click on the contact card list I only see the company

but there clearly is a contact in CRM. Two, in fact:

In Financials, when I search "contacts" I see that some contacts did in fact come over, but are not assigned to their respective companies.  I can go through that 100 or so and assign them if I must. Most however, are like my test account and did not come over at all.

When I compare the contacts that are in the Contact search of Financials, with those that are not found there, I see no differences in the way they are in CRM, so I don't know why some would come over and some would not.

So step one is getting them all over. Step two is assigning them to their respective accounts. I thought it would all be part of the same sync. Any other thoughts?

    Thanks again.
