Hi Team,

I have created a project in Azure Devops and would like to publish the D365 FO Packages to a branch for the first time. So that any developer who connects to the devops would connect to it. Could you please share the steps to perform to publish the initial packages to devops.

Regards

Venkat

RE: Publish FO Packages to DevOps Project

Developers don't publish packages to ADO, they check-in source code. Is this what you mean?

Or do you mean adding some ISV packages to your source control?

If you talk about adding your source code, you can follow this document: docs.microsoft.com/.../configure-vso-solution

Basically you map AOSService/PackagesLocalDirectory of the dev system to Trunk/YourBranch/Metadata in ADO, and C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Visual Studio 2015\Projects to Trunk/YourBranch/Projects.

Then open Source Control Explorer in Visual Studio, right click the Metadata folder on the left side and choose "Add items to folder". Add only your customization model folders, not standard D365 code. Once you've added your folder, check in. Now other developers can get the code by making similar workspace mappings and getting latest.
