Purchase Order Processing

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I am looking for a report that shows my open purchase orders as of 12/31/09.  Is there a report out there for this or a Smartlist suggestion?

I think this was put in as a separate post, so please look for any suggestions in the new post.

For friends wanting to help Gaurav with his question, please use the other post.

    Thanks,

    Leslie

While William's suggestion will give you a list of all POs that existed at 12/31/09, it won't tell you which ones were open at 12/31/09.  That's because there is no date recorded in GP indicating when the PO is closed.  There is no way to tell in GP when it was closed, only that it is closed.

Likewise, Sandip's suggestion for PO Inquiry - the date range is based on the PO create date, which will provide all open PO documents created 12/31/09 or prior that are still open as of today, but notthose that might have been open as of 12/31/09.

    You may use SmartList

    Dynamics GP > Smartlist > Purchasing > Purchase Order > *

    Click "Search" button

    Column name : Document Date

    Filter : is less than

    Value : Enter Date

    1/1/2010

Then define enough of Maximum Records (at the bottom)

    Click OK
