ReportWhen trying to connect to an Azure VM via NavUserPassword or AAD authentication from remote (your own laptop) or directly from the console of the Azure VM (inside the VM), the error in the application event log file contains a very strange error:
Error accessing Website Type: Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Types.NavServerNotFoundException
Windows Authentication does however work fine. Even when ignoring the SSLcert error and trying to connect over localhost does result in that error. Fiddler debugging does not provide further insides. You can easily see that error showing up:
After severe troubleshooting, the following steps had to be taken done:

That did resolve the issue and both NavUserPassword / AAD authentication resulted in a working Dynamics 365 BC WebClient.
