We updated to BC 27.1 and receive the message Planning Availability will be removed in a future release.

Any idea on the replacement for Planning Availability

We use is everyday

Hi,

You are correct that Microsoft has deprecated this report but not provided any alternative in the documentations.

However you can use next best alternatives - Item Availability (New feature added with Sales Order Agent). Traditional Item availability on Item card.

Hello,

The warning in BC 27.1 just means the old Planning Availability page is deprecated, not that planning or availability is going away; Microsoft hasn’t delivered a 1-to-1 replacement yet, but the intended direction is to use the newer Item Availability pages (especially Item Availability by Event / Item Availability Lines) for day-to-day checks and Planning Worksheet / Requisition Worksheet for actual planning decisions. Planning Availability still works today and is safe to use for now, but over time you should shift daily users to those newer availability views since that’s where Microsoft is investing.

Hi

We demand forecast for 6 to 12 months.. The Planning Availability report is the only report that displays our inventory less forecast and orders over many months.

Is there any report we can use thats similiar to a Planning Avaibility
