How can I know whether a certain issue is required to be solve by my Partner or I can go to the Object Designer to resolve it my self in Navision 2018?

Hi,

I have notice that sometimes there are issue which I can resolve myself without the developer license or my Partner's involvement in the Object Designer.

1. I would like to know how can I know whether a certain issue is required to be solve by my Partner or I can go to the Object Designer to resolve it my self in Navision 2018?

2. Can anyway be kind to point out what aspects of the object designer, in regards to Code Unit, Reports, Page, and Table, that I can do without needing a Developer License?

    Hi, as Kolitha said, yes, If you do not have a development license, you cannot modify any standard Objects (Code Unit, Reports, Page, and Table...) . But you can do some simple operations such as exporting to Object to Fob.

    Yes, but you can do report modification with code editing.

    I see. So that means without Developer license, I simply cannot do anything in Object Designer?

    Hi,

    Answers for your questions;

    1. First you must understand the issue by functionally and technically then you can design you solution for that when designing solution you can customize pages, tables & etc using client license except reports you cannot edit or view code.
    2. Without developer license you can resolve reports related issues but other objects related codes cannot access without developer license.
