Hi Forum,
Have been able to see and export the data used in Onboarding checklists using Onboarding checklist template header and Onboarding checklist template task entities. Am unable to find the entities for Offboarding checklists. Surprised to see how can Microsoft can include checklists entities for Onboarding but nor for offboarding and transition? This is weird from Microsoft with its half baked attempt in this. Am I missing something here. I am unable to find entities for business processes too.
Regards
Pavan
Two and a half years later, it's still manual. Very frustrating. Maybe there's hope when HR moves back into F&O
Thanks Max. At this point of time, its manual.
I came across this issue last year and enquired with MS. Looks like the Task type has been hard coded into the entity for Onboarding. They need to either amend the entity so that it includes the Task type or create new ones for Offboarding, Transitions, else these will be manual entry.
Thanks Nicu for your inputs.
I was referring to Task management only from Core HR. Have created checklists for Onboarding and offboarding. Am able to find the entities for Onboarding checklists - Onboarding checklist template header and Onboarding checklist template task, I can export and import in new environments but unable to find the entities for Offboarding and tranisition. I can see these two are getting referred as Business process template but in DM/office integration templates, am unable to find these entities.

Hello Pavan,
you are talking about two different things. Talent has 2 different modules for Onboarding:
1) Onboarding (this is a new product, created by Microsoft and it's directly installed in CDS (PowerApps) - that's why you can see the entities and export them.
2) Onboarding and Offboarding checklists, from Core HR, legacy functionalities in the former F&O module.
the 2 modules of Onboarding do not communicate with one another, unfortunately. at least not yet.
You can, of course, export the Onboarding and Offboarding checklists and tasks from Core HR, but they are under the Business Process Templates and Tasks, in Core HR
best regards,
Nicu
