With "my name" do you mean your AX user id? The same that you use right now?
If that's the case, simply try to reopen AX client and see if it's now open for editing.
If you still can't access it, I can only suspect that "my name" is actually some other developer than you. And you need to ask that developer to check in their changes first.
If you're stuck, in the error dialog you should be able to Claim the object to yourself. But beware, if you claim it and then undo check out, you will actually erase all pending changes of the previous developer (the one who it was previously checked out to).

I did check out but it says:
\usr\Forms\AccountingSourceExplorer is already checked out to (my name)
The problem is only with this form, and rest all code elements allow me to edit
Clearly a version control system is in use in your system (which is good). So you need to check out the object before you can change it (and check in after your changes). Click the seventh icon from the right in the code viewer toolbar to check it out.
Also please check with your main developer / technical lead about any guidelines regarding development, check-ins and so on.
