please assist how do i copy chart of accounts from another company,companies will be using the same database

    I believe the post by Shan to be the most direct route to answering your question.  While the information from Mahmoud is accurate, it is a bit more difficult to complete.

    Hello Julia

    If the other company to which you want to copy the COA then I would definitely agree with the Copy Company utility.There are other valid options if you want to limit the migration to the GL Accounts, such as:

    Use the Professional Services Tools Library (PSTL) and choose the "Company Copy " option.

    I believe, both the company exists on the same SQL Server.
