Currency conversion € -> USD

Hello,

i have a question concerning the currency conversion from Euro to USD.

I will have my item inventory integrated into GP. All costs will be integrated in the Euro but i will need to have the costs in USD. How can i set up GP that the costs are automatically converted into USD so i can go on with the price calculation?

I'm not sure what you mean by "all costs will be integrated in the Euro". Do you mean that cost per item will be entered to the system (via an import/integration manager) in the Euro, or is this something else?

I can see two possible scenarios; one (the easy one) has you importing/integrating data already in Euros, but you want it to be in USD. The easy fix is to convert the values before you bring the data into GP.

The other scenario is that you need to have data go in in EUR, for whatever reason, but still to see the USD values. Do you also need to calculate things (like inventory revaluation) in USD, or will calculations be in EUR? Do you have multiple companies, or just the one company? This could get very messy very easily, but at the end of the day, pretty much anything is doable.
