Can anyone confirm after creating journal in general ledger for importing do we have save journal# after creating before importing the transaction through DIXF.
If I try to import the transaction without saving journal the below error is appearing,
"We are trying to import journal" is not the description I hoped to get. It's still not clear to me whether you're trying to import lines only or both a header or lines. Which entity or entities are you using?
What exactly do you mean by "will be placed in our importing file"? Where do you place it? And do you really want to do that? Don't you want the import process to deal with journal numbers?
We are trying to import journal through DIXF process in AX2012, in our importing format of journal firstly we need to create journal # in gl module in header.
After creating journal # in general journal the same journal # & journal names will be placed in our importing file & we try to import.
Now the issue is after creating journal# if we save CTRL+S then after import process we are easily able to open the journal by clicking on Lines.
In case we create journal & if we miss to do CTRL+S or save then after import process, when we click on the lines to navigate for journal in general ledger getting below error,
Please describe your scenario, because your description is very brief and unclear.
Are you saying that you're importing journal transactions only and you create the journal header manually? What do you mean by "do we have save journal#"? You said you created a journal, therefore it's saved and it has a journal number, doesn't it?
Saying that you created a journal without saving doesn't make sense. If you didn't save you, you didn't create it.
What is the stack trace of the exception?
