Defaulting financial dimensions based on journal type

Hello,

I have a requirement where a user wants to default financial dimensions within a general journal based on journal type / name. I've created a new record in journal names and specified default financial dimensions

I expected that when creating a general journal using this journal name that the financial dimensions would be added automatically on each line, but it doesn't seem to be the case

Is what is being requested possible?

Hi,

It will come automatically, you need to select account first, it will auto come subsequently.

Hi, agreed to Ramit. As soon as you enter main account, all the financial dimensions mapped at journal names will automatically gets populated in the journal line. Thanks
