Javascript for routing selected items to queue

Does anyone know if it would be possible to select items in a queue, and then press a button in the ribbon that routes those items to a predefined queue? If so, do you have the javascript that would work for this case? It would save our users a lot of time to route with one click - almost all records at the moment are routed to the same queue so there is no need to go through the dialogue box when clicking the route button. This would be a big time saver for us to have 1 click to route records to this queue.

any thoughts on this? I think we would use the javascript to update the queue lookup field on the queue item, then refresh the grid view and that should be "routing" Seems doable

Thank you for your response. We have been using the dialogue box for routing - the issue is that the queue we always use keeps disappearing from the recent dropdown, and so we have to change the view then search for the queue. It's becoming cumbersome so a single button on the ribbon would save 4-5 clicks and feel like a huge time saver to our users at this point.

My next thought was to use a Flow to move the items to the new queue - this would be better than the dialogue box simply b/c its easier for new users who don't know how to search for the right queue.

    Hi Ben,

So you want to bulk route queue items, right?

You can select queue items and click ‘Route’ button directly, which can bulk route queue items easily.

But you mentioned, "there is no need to go through the dialogue box".

In fact, route one queue items from one queue to another queue means update queue lookup field value of these queue items.

I have tried to use workflow/flow/Bulk data updater tool to update queue lookup field in queue item entity, they all don't work.

maybe you can refer following link to bulk update the record using ExecuteMultiple in Dynamics 365.
