HI,

I have assigned a few of our GP users to limited licenses, in hopes of allowing more users to log into GP at one time.

However, one of our users is not able to drill down to view. I have not changed his security access, only the limited status.

Is there a restriction to drilling down, even though they are not entering data, just viewing the source document? This view is coming from Inquiry > History Detail > Journal Entry drill down > Source Document Drill down.

The Payables Transaction Entry Zoom window in the Dynamics core dictionary is available to limited users.

Can you check if your user is trying to open an alternate version?

If you have GP Power Tools installed, it would show you exactly what window you are trying to open on the error dialog and Security Profiler window would capture the window details, then Security Information window can tell you if the window is allowed for Limited Users.

For example: The Payables Transaction Entry window is limited.

Inquiry windows are not restricted to Limited Users. I suggest you take a close look at the security for the Payables Transaction Inquiry - Document and the Payables Transaction Inquiry - Vendor windows and ensure the user tagged as Limited User belong to the ACCOUNTING MANAGER*, AP CLERK*, BOOKEEPER*, or LIMITED USER - PURCH* security roles, with access to the INQ_PURCH_002* security task.
