NAV 2009 account schedule columns

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I wrote an account schedule with 40+ columns and am unable to export it to excel. It only prints 6 columns when I go through financial statements and when I go into it through analysis & reporting and view the matrix, I only get the 1st 20 columns. The "Show Next Set" button is bugged in this version.

Any ideas of how to get an excel export that shows all my columns?

This is going to sound a bit crazy, but I've seen it working in NAV 2009!

When you view your account schedule in OVERVIEW - narrow the columns before sending to excel.  Make sure you can see all the columns possible - NAV only lets you see 12 I think but just narrow all the columns you can, even if it means you cannot see the numbers in the columns (usually get *** in the fields) - don't worry, once you sent to excel, the numbers all appear as normal.

I've just tried it with 24 columns - could only see 12 on overview but once I narrowed the columns all 24 came through to excel.  Let me know if it works for you.

    Kind regards

    Joan

I have not tried it with 40 columns, let me check and get back to you. What is the build you are running?

Check your 2009 version is running on the last cumulative updated released for the 2009 version, if not you should update it with the latest version.
