We have a Dev and Test environment since 2 years back.
This week emails that are supposed to be sent in the Test environement end up with status "Completed" and are not sent.
In Dev they end up with status "Sent" and actually arrive to the recipient. The emails are created and sent programmatically from a plugin when certain criteria are fulfilled.
When I found a page about the status "Completed" for email it said that this status is when an email has been converted to a lead, opportunity or case which makes no sense why this would happen...
What could've been changed in our Test? I've tried looking at mailboxes but I cannot find any obvious differences between the two environments..
UPDATE: After having a colleague test the same functionality it works whenever he triggers the email sending. So it seems it is just for me that email end up as "Completed" instead of "Sent". We are both sysadmins.
