Entity to Entity Relationship

Posted on by 70

We have a custom entity for project connected to the Account. Right now the type of behavior is set to Referential but i am needing to change this to parental to get all activities to show under the account. What impact on the data will there be when i make this change?

    RE: Entity to Entity Relationship

    Hi Chris,

The key impact would be any actions taken in the Parent entity record will have an affect on the child records.  For example, if you delete the parent, the child records will be deleted.  In a Referential relationship it doesn't. Check this article for more information.
