Hello:
We are testing the movement of GP databases to a new SQL instance.
One of our integrations in Integration Manager on our test environment contains scripting, and I have "told" it the name of the new SQL instance. In any case, the integration is giving me an error upon running it.
The following is the error: ERROR: Error Executing Script 'Before Integration' Line 14: - Login failed for user 'LNK_DBA'.
I have been assured that all logins from the soon to be old SQL instance have been copied over to the soon to be new instance.
And, I have compared the scripting in Integration Manager in production to that of test. The scripting matches, except for the new SQL instance name in the integration on the test environment.
There is "before" and "after" scripting. The error I'm getting is occurring on the "before" scripting where Integration Manager calls, among other things, a stored procedure in the SQL database (i.e. the "initial catalog").
This is for GP 2013 R2, and the version of Integration Manager is 12.00.1753.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to eliminate the error?
Thanks!
John

Hi Sean:
Thank you, for the quick response!
Actually, our DBA had to come in and take care of this. Somehow, a user named "LNK_DBA" got linked to the user for the Integration Manager scripting.

Hi John -
If the LNK_DBA user has been copied over to the new server, then it's likely the password needs to be reset. I would try resetting the password on the user and see if that solves the issue.
