Filtering Net Change on Chart of Accounts

Hello Community!

Still new to the software. Every month we complete month end for the previous month just gone. We do an analytical review of the Net Change compared to last month and comment on the reason why there is a large difference. For example, we are currently comparing the movement in September to the movement in August and explaining the reasons for large differences.

Using the Chart of Accounts page found on Business Central online, as we want to open it in excel, is there a way to do the following on one page:

Change the "Net Change" to the desired date range. For example 1st September 2020 - 30th September 2020
Add another column for "Net Change" for the previous month. For example 1st August 2020 - 31st August 2020

If the two above cannot be done in conjunction, if someone could explain the step by step process of the first bullet point, that would be helpful!

Month by month net change comparison with YTD to boot is available. You can also export it to Excel and then update a chosen Excel workbook if you’d like
