NAV 2009 inventory question

Posted on by 40

Hello,

I had a question we are trying to adjust our inventory and see what is moving and what isn't. Is there a way to pull up a report of items that have not moved in 30 days, or a similar type of report.

    RE: NAV 2009 inventory question

    Hi,

The best way to do this is by running the 'Item Age Composition – Qty.' report.

The report can be found in Departments > Purchase > Inventory & Costing > Reports. You can set the Period Length to '1M' if you want to check items movement in the last 30 days.

Save the file to Excel (depending on what version you are using, this feature might not be available i.e. on lower versions you need to save as html then open with Excel).  You then filter for zero values on the column where it shows the last month counted from the Ending Date (generally column G in Excel).

The report will show all items with no movements in the last month.

    Thank you.
