Where to find the code that calculates total sales?

So I am having a new integer field called "Scrap Gold Value" on the Sales Invoice page. The value in this new field should deduct from the Total value of the Sales Lines. A quick example; User selects 2 line items that yielded to the Total of 100 USD after all the discounts and taxes have been applied. Now assume that the value in "Scrap Gold Value" is 20 USD. It should then calculate to deduct this amount and show new Total with the value of 80 USD.

I am relatively new to development and can't find the place where I should be looking into to deduct my newly created field with the total of the line items.
