How to remove the time in my date field?

Hey guys,

I try to remove the time in my date field:

Does anyone know how to do this?

The layout is a Word Layout and I think it is not possible to change the format of the date field like it is in the Report Builder...

That is why I thought I could manipulate the format of the field in the OnValidate-trigger:

But this is also not working...

    Otherwise, you can use a Text field exposed by AL.

    You can use Format expression to print the date in a particular format.

    How and where do I have to use the Format expression?

    when you add the column on the report you must use format.
